Corneal Refractive Therapy

A non-surgical myopia reduction through the use of contact lenses.

Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT), or orthokeratology, involves overnight wear of rigid gas permeable contact lenses to reshape the cornea resulting in a reversible reduction of myopia throughout the day allowing a person to function without the need for corrective lenses during waking hours. A regular schedule of overnight contact lens wear to maintain the results is necessary. Those of you who have difficulty wearing contact lenses or are employed in a profession in which glasses are a hinderence should consider CRT.

To find out if you are a candidate, contact our office to set up a consultation with one of our doctors.
