Our Optometrists

Dr. Zigler is a 1981 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Originally from Bryan, OH, Dr. Zigler attended Bowling Green State University prior to his Optometry education. He gained early admittance into the Optometry program at The Ohio State University College of Optometry and graduated after just four years with a combined OD and Master's degree.

Dr. Zigler is a prominent lecturer and speaks extensively across the country on various topics related to contact lenses and laser vision correction. He has been a principal investigator for numerous studies conducted by the FDA during his career. Dr. Zigler has also held numerous positions with local, state, and national optometric organizations.

Dr. Zigler specializes in difficult to fit contact lenses including keratoconus and is credentialed in laser vision co-management. Dr. Zigler is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry. He is the current chair-elect for the Contact Lens and Cornea Section of the American Optometric Association. He also serves on the faculty of The Ohio State University College of Optometry.

He and his wife, Sandy, have three grown children and reside in Upper Arlington, Ohio.

Dr. Travis graduated in 2010 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry with Magna Cum Laude honors. He moved to Columbus, from Bryan, Ohio, in 2003 to attend The Ohio State University for undergraduate studies. After three years, Dr. Travis gained early admittance to The College of Optometry.

While in school, Dr. Travis was awarded the American Optometric Student Association's Student Leader of the Year in 2009. He also held leadership positions in numerous organizations, such as Executive President of Optometry Student Council, Student Representative for the American Optometric Student Association, and Board Member for the Epsilon Psi Epsilon Professional Optometric Fraternity.

Dr. Travis is also actively involved with Volunteers for Optometric Services to Humanity, which is a group that travels worldwide to give eye examinations to people that cannot afford nor obtain such care. As a student, he made trips to Ecuador and Peru, and plans to participate in future trips as an optometrist.  Dr. Travis is involved with the Central Ohio Optometric Association as a trustee.  He is also a member of the American Optometric Association and Ohio Optometric Association.

Dr. Travis specializes in "difficult to fit" contact lenses for patients with astigmatism, patients that need bifocals, keratoconus, and dry eye. He also specializes in treatment of dry, gritty, and irritated eyes, as well as eyes that are itchy and burn. Along with making sure you see well, he also makes sure your eyes are healthy by treating red eyes, contact lens complications, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and any other eye problems you might be having

Dr. Jenna graduated in 2011 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry second in her class with Summa Cum Laude honors. She moved to Columbus from Temperance, Michigan in 2007 after graduating with a degree in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science from University of Michigan.

While in optometry school, Dr. Jenna held leadership positions as secretary of the American Optometric Student Association and editor of the annual alumni newsletter for Epsilon Psi Epsilon Optometric Fraternity. She currently serves as an Ohio Optometric Association Zone 12 trustee.

Dr. Jenna has been involved with Volunteers for Optometric Service to Humanity since she was a student. This group travels throughout the world providing eye examinations to those who cannot afford nor obtain such care. She has traveled to Ecuador and Peru through this organization and looks to continue these trips in the future.
