Our Team

Kim is our receptionist.  She has 12 years experience in optometry before starting with us.  She recently moved back to Columbus from Savannah, Georgia. 

Patti is our receptionist.  Patti has worked with workers compensation for 12 years before joining our team.  She has been a Red Coat at Ohio State football games for seven years.  She likes to hang out at her pool and do Zumba in her free time.

Knowledgable in all areas of the office, Brenda is our office manager. Her main duties are at the front desk where she handles patient check out and office and staff management responsibilities. She is past Chair of the Ohio Paraoptometric Association and was recipient of the 2006 Para of The Year for Ohio Award. Brenda has three children and eight grandchildren.

Laura has been with us since February 2010 and is our new optical manager. She has over 12 years of experience in optics and holds a dual Spectacle/Contact Lens Dispensing License. She is a member of the OAO and obtains 12 hours of continuing education annually. Laura strives in maintaining that we have all the latest fashion styles as well as traditional favorites. She is in the office Monday through Thursday and every other Saturday.

Shonee Turner has been an Ohio Board Licensed Optician for 19 years. Shonee will help you pick out the finest frames that fit your image and style, while guiding you to select the best lenses for your lifestyle.

Erin is an Optometric Assistant and you will find her helping out in all aspects of the office.

Danielle is one of our optometric assistants.  She helps out in all areas of the office.  Danielle is a graduate of The Ohio State University.  She worked in the optical field two years before joining our team.  In her free time, Danielle enjoys playing video games.

Deb is one of our contact lens technicians. She shares responsibilities in our contact lens area with ordering, verifying, and dispensing contact lenses as well as patient examination, preparation and training.

David is one of our optometry students. He graduated from Miami University in 2010 and will be graduating from The Ohio State College of Optometry in 2014.

Rachel is one of our optometry students that help out our team.  Her passion is helping others around the world who cannot normally obtain care.  She has been to Africa twice, including a recent trip to Kenya.  She will graduate from The Ohio State University College of Optometry with her doctorate of optometry in 2014.

Sierra is our pre-optometry student.  She is currently a health sciences major with minors in life sciences, women's studies, and fashion retail at The Ohio State University and will work part-time.  She is also an active member of the Pre-Optometry Club.

Lindsay has been with Central Ohio EyeCare part-time since 2002 and full-time since 2006. Her duties include patient pre-testing, patient check-in and check-out, and answering phones. She also assists opticians with dispensing, adjustments, and repairs and the contact lens technicians with dispensing, fittings, and orders. She is a graduate of Upper Arlington High School in 2002 and Wittenberg University in 2006.
