Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) involves overnight wear of rigid gas permeable contact lenses to reshape the cornea resulting in a reversible reduction of myopia throughout the day allowing a person to function without the need for corrective lenses during waking hours. A regular schedule of overnight contact lens wear to maintain the results is necessary.
