Dr. Zigler is a 1981 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Originally from Bryan, OH, Dr. Zigler attended Bowling Green State University prior to his Optometry education. He gained early admittance into the Optometry program at The Ohio State University College of Optometry and graduated after just four years with a combined OD and Master's degree. Dr. Zigler is a prominent lecturer and speaks extensively across the country on various topics related to contact lenses and laser vision correction. He has been a principal investigator for numerous studies conducted by the FDA during his career. Dr. Zigler has also held numerous positions with local, state, and national optometric organizations. Dr. Zigler specializes in difficult to fit contact lenses including keratoconus and is creditialed in laser vision co-management. Dr. Zigler is a member of the American Optometric Association the Ohio Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry. He also serves on the faculty of THe Ohio State University College of Optometry. He and his wife Sondra have three grown children and reside in Upper Arlington, Ohio.


Michael S Heidish O.D., M.S.

Dr. Heidish was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and relocated to Columbus, Ohio in 1990 to attend The OSU College of Optometry after completing a four year Bachelor's degree in Biology at Grove City College in Grove City, PA. Dr. Heidish graduated in 1994 and went on to complete a two year Cornea and Contact Lens Fellowship and combined Master's program. During his residency Dr. Heidish conducted research in the area of Orthokeratology, a procedure utilizing contact lenses to reshape the cornea with the aim of reducing or eliminating nearsightedness. Dr. Heidish specializes in hard to fit contact lenses including keratoconus, low vision evaluations, and he is also credentialed in laser surgery co-management and Corneal Refractive Therapy. Dr. Heidish is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association and adjunct faculty member of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He and his wife Julie, also an optometrist, have three young children and reside in Circleville, Ohio.
